Content Policy
Alonia Culture Media Ltd · Nicosia, Cyprus · Effective 15 February 2026
Lumio curates culture-and-lifestyle short films. This policy sets out what we will and won't publish, and what we ask of creators who submit work. It applies to all content on lumiovideo.com.
What we publish
Well-made, non-exploitative short films in our themes — slow living, makers and craft, food culture, design and interiors, city and design walks, and daily rituals. We reward the quiet, considered piece over the loudest thumbnail.
Prohibited content
- Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory material.
- Sexually explicit content, or content sexualising minors.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm.
- Illegal activity, dangerous instructions, or content that infringes others' rights.
- Misleading, deceptive, or spam content.
Copyright clearance
By submitting, you confirm you own or have cleared all rights — footage, music, voice, and likenesses — necessary for Lumio to stream the film to members. We remove material on valid copyright complaints under our DMCA process.
AI disclosure
If a submission contains materially AI-generated or AI-assisted footage, audio, or narration, you must disclose this when you submit so we can label it accurately. We do not pass off synthetic material as documentary reality.
Submissions
Send culture-and-lifestyle shorts to [email protected] with a link and a short note. We credit every filmmaker by name, and curation is editorial — submission does not guarantee publication.
